If you know it is not healthy to starve yourself but you feel it is the only way to lose weight and look good what do you do?
Please stop worrying about your weight! The more you think about it the more it just won't go away.
There is no magic pill that will make you lose weight and if you are serious, then you are going to have to put some effort into losing that weight. Starving yourself actually puts weight on you and does not take it off. Your stomach can become bloated and you can have many health risks by using this method.
Join a gym if you can afford it and work out. If not go to a well populated park and jog twice a day. Every pound you lose is a like holding a pound of butter in the palm of your hand. Eat well-balanced meals such as: An egg, 2 pieces of toast and juice for breakfast (if you prefer cereal read the labels on the box and stay away from sugar.) If you have to have something sweet on your cereal use pasteurized honey (only a teaspoon and drizzle over the cereal.) For lunch have salads (I mean good salads.) Salads with either tuna, chicken, beef or seafood in it, tomatoes, celery, etc. If you have a busy schedule there are lots of eating establishment now that are health conscious and you can buy good wholesome sandwiches, salads, etc. For dinner stick to fish and chicken as well as most seafoods. Eat lots of veggies and fruits, whole grains, and those 8 ounces of water. Juices don't count ... it's the purity of water (flushes out the fat.)
If you are a student, volunteer and get your mind off yourself. If you are working get a hobby you can lose yourself in and stop worrying about your weight. By doing so you will lose this weight far more quickly if you stick to that good diet, exercise and drinking that water.
On weekends pick out a day you prefer and have what I call a "pig out." This allows you to have that dessert, chips, pop, etc., but after that stick to your diet for the rest of the week.
Well, you obviously can't starve yourself, because you'll get very sick and maybe even die. I know from experience that some people won't ever be thin by eating healthy and working out.
I've been doing this for years and am very educated about what I'm supposed to do, but am not thin. i am however no longer overweight, just not "thin". So I think the only answer is to try your best and work on your self esteem to accept not being thin. It doesn't mean you don't look good, no matter what ads seem to suggest. Lots of body types can be attractive. In other words if you can't starve yourself, and you can't "look good" without starving yourself, then your only choice is to work on your unrealistic expectations about what looking good is! I know it's hard, harder even than losing weight! Good luck.
